We've made it clear to all those who are near, that we care for them without fear. We wear the truth to destroy the bands of social awkwardness so we can be our true selves, and free others to be their best selves.
Wearing a Suicide Sucks shirt is, admittedly, extremely difficult. It requires us to step into courage and bravery, and face the day with boldness, knowing that there might be a conversation that could alter someone's life that day.
The question we have to wake up asking ourselves is, is my love for others stronger than my desire for self preservation?
Put it this way, if you've lost someone to suicide already, what would you be willing to do, what would you be willing to give, to what lengths would you be willing to go, if you had the chance to prevent them from their suicide?
You have the love, you have the strength, you have the power to save someone's life.
